Most people probably know me for what I do not like or what I do not agree with, in part because there are a lot of bad ideas that need to be demolished before good ideas can be constructed in their place, rather than what I am for. For this essay I will discuss where I am coming from. This topic is of course too large for just one essay, but will likely spawn more in order to clarify and explain. I will begin with general principles and work out from there. The three most salient aspects of my thought are (1) its historical rootedness; (2) engagement with the swath of modern political movements; (3) firm foundation in the truths of Scripture.
